Alex Rudy provides individual therapy to young adults for anxiety, depression, self-esteem, trauma and life transitions.
In addition, she enjoys working with clients from different cultural backgrounds and is LGBTQ+ affirmative.
Alex provides daytime and evening appointments. She offers in-person and teletherapy sessions.
Ms. Rudy uses a strengths-based and person-centered approach, while drawing on the cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) model.
A native of Austin, Tex., Alex Rudy has a master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling from Adler University in Chicago. She has a bachelor’s degree in psychology from St. Edwards University in Austin, Tex.
Prior to joining DC Talk Therapy, Ms. Rudy provided individual counseling, group counseling and family therapy at Community of Hope in Washington, D.C.
