About Amanda Shapiro

Amanda Shapiro is a licensed clinical social worker who specializes in working with young adults (20s and 30s), particularly college students and graduate students who have difficulty making decisions in their lives. She also specializes in working with mothers adjusting to the major life transitions that accompany parenthood.
Ms. Shapiro has advanced training in issues related to infertility, as well as with depression and anxiety during pregnancy and after birth. She has experience working with survivors of violence, sexual assault, and childhood sexual abuse. She is proficient in German.
Ms. Shapiro offers morning, afternoon and evening appointments. She provides teletherapy, or online therapy, on video platforms such as Doxy and VSee.
